About

Anthea A G Antiques

Anthea A G Antiques Ltd is run by Anthea Gesua with the help of Gaby Ruthven and has been in Grays Antiques Centre, London, since the early 1980s.

They deal in pretty gem set jewellery from the 19th to the 21st centuries, with a selection of signed pieces from the important jewel houses.

They carry a varied stock including a selection of men's cufflinks and ladies diamond watches, as well as good period rings and earrings.

Anthea Gesua

Anthea grew up with a mother who was an avid collector of antiques including jewellery which is what initially sparked her interest.

After training as a teacher, she was so drawn to antique jewellery that the benefits of a teaching career could not compete with the pleasure she derived from beautiful antiques, so she decided to pursue her interest in jewellery.

The company initially developed as a trade oriented business, but has since grown its retail business, whilst happily continuing to look after English and overseas trade customers.

Fairs

Anthea exhibits at all the most popular fairs including Olympia, The Antique Dealers Fair, LAPADA and recently at the BADA Fair.

Fairs have always been an important aspect of the company’s year, where they meet old and new customers but more importantly, keep abreast of an ever-changing market.
