Lennox Cato Antiques

Lennox Cato Antiques was established in 1978, specialising in 18th and 19th century furniture and related works of art.

Lennox began dealing from Brighton and later moved to Lewes, East Sussex. He now operates from  premises in the market town of Edenbridge in Kent.

Husband and wife team, Lennox and Susan Cato, pride themselves on the service and commitment they provide to their clients, many of whom return time and again.

Fairs & Services

Always with an eye for the unusual, Lennox has built up an international client base.

He can often be seen exhibiting at London fairs, including the BADA Fair, Lapada and the Olympia fairs.

As well as buying and selling antiques, he provides a comprehensive range of client services.

These include valuations, both probate and insurance, appraisals, restoration, consultancy and sourcing items for clients.

Visitors can always be sure of a friendly and uncomplicated approach and a warm welcome will always await you at the gallery.

Lennox Cato

Since 2004, Lennox has been a regular contributor on the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow as a furniture specialist.

He also served for many years as a Council member of the British Antiques Dealers' Association.

In 2020, Lennox Cato was made a Deputy Lieutenant of Kent, in honour of his “positive contributions to the county and the nation”.

Lennox also sits on the panel of The National Heritage Memorial Fund.
